Our Story
My name is Sharon Main.
My husband and I live on a small farm in Northwest Arkansas. We have been married for 55 years, have children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We have raised cattle and had cattle dogs about all of our married life. When we first met the Cavalier breed we fell in love with them. Loving dogs as we do, we decided we wanted to raise Cavalier puppies - Mainstreet Puppies!
We have a small climate control facility with access to the outdoors at any time of their choosing. We strive very hard to raise beautiful, happy and healthy puppies for your family to enjoy. We have our own personal Cavalier, Callie, and she is the joy of our life.

ABOUT THE CAVALIER KING CHARLES SPANIEL
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a British breed of toy dog of spaniel type. They are playful, affectionate, sociable, patient and gentle with no shortage of playfulness to share with the whole family. They’re adaptable and easy-going, ready for everyday adventures or spending quality time relaxing at home. Cavaliers live for playtime and cuddle sessions. They get along nicely with children and other dogs, making them excellent family pets. Their coat is smooth and silky and are available in 4 colors: Blenheim, tricolor, black and tan, and ruby.
Breed Group: Toy
Don’t let their regal history or flowing coat and fancy feathered tail fool you, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are as friendly and loving as they come! This cheerful toy breed is surprisingly uncomplicated and happiest as an indoor lapdog.
Behavior
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel loves to be with their family and craves attention. They are cheerful, playful, and intelligent—an ideal dog to carry with you and share your time with. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels do not bark frequently. They are generally well-behaved but can sometimes be timid or stubborn.
Coat
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has long, soft, silky hair with a light wave to it. There are four color types which were formerly considered separate breeds: tricolor (‘Prince Charles’), red and white (‘Blenheim’), black and tan (‘King Charles’), and red (‘Ruby’). The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is an average shedder, and they don’t need to be bathed often if you keep them as indoor dogs, which they prefer, but frequent brushing is a good idea.
Lifestyle
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels get along great with children (although older children are preferable), other dogs, and any household pets. They are friendly, happy, and loving. Yet, while fiercely devoted to loved ones, they can be suspicious around strangers.
Activity
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel are pretty basic. They love walks (leashed or watched closely around roads as they tend to give chase to small animals) but are quite content with plenty of indoor play, easily adjusting to the activity level of your family. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a good fit for apartment life or a home in the country.
